Laurie B. Puhn Feinstein is Of Counsel at Bikkal & Associates where she practices Immigration and Nationality Law.

Laurie attended Harvard University where she earned her B.A. in 1999. She then received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2002 where she served on the Board of the Harvard Mediation Program.

She has represented clients in removal and bond proceedings and family-based visa proceedings, including motions, waivers, adjustment of status, asylum and RFEs. Laurie has a focus on keeping families together, and supporting those in difficult situations.

Laurie has a history of civic involvement and human rights advocacy in the New York metro area. She volunteers in the legal department of Neighbor's Link in Mt. Kisco and at My Sister's Place in White Plains. Laurie is an active member of the Town of Greenburgh Human Rights Advisory Committee. She was awarded the Anti-Defamation League’s Leadership Award and the Junior League of Central Westchester's President's Award. Laurie is married with three children.

She is the author of the national bestseller “Fight Less, Love More: 5-Minute Conversations to Change Your Relationship without Blowing Up or Giving In” (Rodale, 2012) and “Instant Persuasion: How to Change Your Words to Change Your Life,” (Penguin, 2005).

Laurie designed the virtual “Fight Less, Love More” relationship course in collaboration with the non-profit “Marriage Dynamics Institute.” She also served as a spokesperson for T-mobile and Viacord.

Laurie has provided her relationship skills insights and expertise on Good Day NY, CNN, Weekend Today in NY, Fox News Channel, CBS Early Show and Court TV/TruTV, among other programs, as well as hundreds of radio shows.

Laurie is a recognized speaker at Fortune 500 companies, universities, hospitals and non-profits. She educates and empowers people with essential communication skills to build stronger relationships, foster teamwork, and achieve sustainable results in their personal and professional lives.
